Certainly not easy - but one day at a time. I've certainly had bad days - it's only human. I'm a control freak too :) So I get mad at myself if I think too much about bad stuff. Find the coping mechanism that works - for me it's staying positive and that I'm a control freak :)
Last January my fiancee had his third pulmonary embolism. He's on warfarin for the rest of his life and I see the physical, mental, and emotional changes in him already. I'm worried, scared, and furious when he seems to be just fine. You can only imagine how frustrating this is for both him and me.
