Journal Entry for September 4, 2008 Mood
Thursday, September 4, 2008
6 weeks left to go of tx. This week, I'd rate the sides from the shot at a medium intensity. Last week, no sides except a slight headache. And the week before, strong sides for 3 days. I'm still busy working out 4-5 days a week and doing projects around the house like splitting wood, putting a new sidewalk in, and water proofing the deck. There's a brisk in the air the last 2 days signaling fall is around the corner. Still undetectable. Blood work still good. I know that the Dr. prescribed testosterone helps with the RBC's and energy though. Looking forward to being done with this crap. But it is working and I'm still sober. Almost 2 years now. So life is good and as always, could always be worse.

Journal Entry for August 12, 2008 Mood
Tuesday, August 12, 2008
I just took my 10th shot last night. Finally, I'm in single digits of shots left to go. Lately, I feel kind of tired a lot. It's like I don't sleep good for a couple of days after the shots then I sleep for like 10 hours. So it's either lack of sleep or catching up. But it's just a little tired all the time. Other than that, life is good. I have little or no stress. Marriage is great. I still work out 4-5 days a week with weights. I just have to take 200-300mg of caffeine before my workouts to get myself jacked up for a little while so I have energy. I've been practicing what the movie "The Secret" says to do for the last couple of months. Keep stress low. Think no negative thoughts. Positive thinking and the law of attraction. The only thing I like to watch on T.V. anymore are funny shows (like MAD TV) and the olympics. The only thing I didn't like about "The Secret" was that they focus a lot on money. I agree with that, but we can attract a whole lot more than just money. I never feel like working out, but the caffeine gets me in the mood. Feeling good today. I'm going to visit my brother in L.A. this week. Hopefully, that goes well. You know how it is with family. Sometimes they can get under your skin. I hope I can not take things personally.

I know family is the worse!! Hope your trip goes well. I drink AKAI berry before work outs now, it helps with my energy level. My husband is selling Mona Vie juice. I only drink a small amount in my water because it has a lot of sugar. I havent read the Secret, wanted too. Hope your days are good to you. Keep up the good work. Love your Jersey Pal

Journal Entry for July 31, 2008 Mood

11 weeks to go. This week I felt really hot, sweaty, and just out of it for 2 days after my shot. Oh yea, the insomnia sucked too. Last night I slept like 6 hours and rested in bed for 8, so I'm feeling good. Appetite is good. Almost to single digits. The end is in sight. The final lap. Lab tests remain good. Haven't got my latest viral count yet. But in a couple of weeks. I'll keep everyone posted.

    Good morning Bill,
During my treatment, I also had those sweats your talking about, aren't they terrible.
I would straighed my hair, within an hour they were all wet and fuzzy again.
Make up forget about that, the second it was done, sweat down the face, again .....
I wonder what makes us sweat like this, the interferon or the riba, you know not many people complain of this side, I've noticed.
I think your the first in a long time, sure some discuss the night sweats related to chill and hot again there, due to the shot, but just during the day like that, and sweating like crazy I wonder what causes it exactly.
Thanks for sharing and yes please keep us posted.
    Single digits in no time.
You are a strong warrior my man, we did the 48 weeks journey and it wasn't a bed of roses, but doable and long.
    Later.........Mack
    One day at the time.
