This week has been nuts at work.  Ok the past month has been nuts at work!  However, this week was the best!  It started out on Monday getting my butt chewed out by a faculty member because there was some confusion with one of her students.  Basically, the student didn't read the instructions and then was confused because I couldn't register her.  The faculty was mad because i was wasting her time and because I wasn't communicating effectively.  I got that resolved by forwarding the info that I had already sent and explaining my role...then got oh, thank you!

Then today, another student came in (different department & college) and was mad because his plan of study wasn't approved so he couldn't get financial aide and couldn't register for classes.  He's doing an internship so that is where I came in although I have nothing to do with the other stuff. He ripps me up one side and down the other because, HEAVEN FORBID he might have to talk to his internship supervisor to get a job description and have her sign his learning agreement!  I tried to explain to him that I have been having problems with outlook so that could be why he didn't get all the information.  He didn't care.  It wasn't his problem.  That excuse wouldn't work in a real world.  He's 37 years old and none of his bosses would accept that excuse.  HOLY CRAP!!!!

I would never act that way in public let alone to someone who was trying to help me.  But that's my job!!! (or so I'm told)

UGG!!! I can't wait until all the jerks go on summer break!
