Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
I was diagnosed summer of 1998, after 5 years of my first neuro telling me I just had some brain swelling.
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- its been working well for 7 years
- Keppra Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with the tingling in my hands and to control seizures
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- It works well
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- only when I need it
- Provigil Somewhat Helpful
- it worked well for a couple of years but I am not sure it works as well as it did.
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- it works when I need it, but I gain weight and throw things
- Topamax Working / Worked
- it seems to help although I have gone from 120 pound to 90 pounds and stayed that way for 5 years. Scary.
Close Pet Bereavement
Yesterday I lost my 15 year old pug, I feel like I can't breathe.
