About Me
I call myself Glitter Girl for 2 reasons, 1) I love sparkly stuff! 2) I can present myself as a very shiny happy person. Not many people know the real me. I'm determined to be real on DS, no point otherwise! I have quite a wicked sense of humour, very dry. I'm a Lancashire Lass, who lives in Yorkshire. I live with Miles. I love walking in the Pennines and have discovered a recent passion for climbing mountains! I work in a school. I am a kind, intensely spiritual person, in a non-religious way, and am in awe of the world around me.
Interests
Love nature and animals, love photography, love travelling, I like reading (a lot), cinema, live music, I have a campervan which I often escape to places in, it soothes my soul. Guilty pleasures: watching the X factor (yes sorry I know it's sad, but I can't help it.) whilst eating big Jars of olives, I love them.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionAm on a journey, I am finding out who I am, and as I get nearer, the depressions seems to be getting smaller.
Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
A strange childhood, both my brother and I suffered terribly at the hands of our parents. Beatings, cruel emotional and mental torture and neglect, and permanent conflict.

- As part of my Art Therapy. I find this helps and has unlocked a lot of the pain and torture of my childhood.

There was A LOT of conflict at home as a kid and none of it was dealt with positively.
