So....I don't even know what I need to say so I'll just start talking and hope I include everything. My boss and co-worker had their babies last Thursday on the same day. Jaxon is full of excitment. He has been smiling a TON! And yesterday he giggled. He's been cooing for a couple weeks now. And last night we moved his bassinett to the living room to try to get him used to it during the day. Today he slept in there for two hours. He woke up a few times the first hour but I would pick him up and get him to sleep again and put him back down. The last hour he slept straight through and I actually had to wake him up to change and feed him so we could go get James. James has been back at work for a couple weeks now. It's going really well. Today he started taking the Max though cuz we were spending $100 a week on gas. We agreed that I would probably pick him up on Fridays to end his week. What else? Oh yeah...Jaxon has decided that he wants teeth. He is drooling and chewing on everything and he has been having more of a painful cry rather than just fussy or whatever. I called his doctor and they said I could give him a dropper full of infant tylenol every 4-6 hours. I haven't done that yet but I have been giving him teething tablets a couple times a day when he has the painful cry and nothing else helps him. Also he still doesn't like the binky but he will chew on it if you hold it in his mouth. I went to my postpartum checkup and she said things were good but still healing a little. I started on birth control and am looking into the iud/iuc but haven't decided yet. I am glad that we started birth control though cuz I haven't been blessed with the delayed return of the period due to breastfeeding. He is getting huge...I'm not sure how much he weighs but he's definatly growing. He loves his mommy and he loves when daddy comes home. He will sit and talk to him and not even look at me. He still chokes a lot when he eats, but not much I can do about that. He's still eating usually every 1-2 hours but sometimes he will go a little longer. At night he has been sleeping for 5 hours the first stretch and 4 hours the next when he can but I usually have to interupt his second set to take James to the max/work. Oh and he found out how to suck his thumb the other day. Still getting better at it, but he did it. He's also getting better at riding in the car seat. I got some toys for him and he loves to look at himself in the mirror. Anyway, that's all for now. We don't have internet and wont have it for some time but I will try to check in as much as possible. Also I have a ton of pics but I will have to find more time to be able to add them. Maybe this weekend if I go to my grandparents. Well hope all is well for all of you. I will tlak to you as soon as I can.
