I can't believe it...he's two weeks old!  We just got back from his two week check up and he is now 10lb 10oz, 22.5inches long and 15 inches around the head.  The doctor said he looks like he's doing really well.  She also said that with the weather being so hot to nurse him a little more to make sure he is staying hydrated.  His next appointment isn't until the 2nd of July so no more doctors for a little bit...for him at least.  I have mine on the 13th of June.  It's in the 90's here today and we don't have a/c but we kept the windows open last night and it's decently cool in our place.  I think we'll be ok as long as we don't cook anything until it's cooled off outside.

So on a sad note, I was talking to my cousin last night and found out some very unfortunate news.  I was molested when I was 12 by my uncle and found out a couple weeks later that he had tried to do it to my step sister and that he had been doing it to his oldest daughter for 5 years, from the ages of 5-10 when she told me.  Anyway,   I thought that was the end of the story.  My uncle has three girls total and the one I was talking to last night is the youngest one.  She's in high school now.  Well last night she told me that he raped her when she was 6 years old.  She hadn't told anyone about it until last week when she told her mom and then telling me last night.  I don't know what to say to her other than I'm sorry that she had to go through that.  Anyway, I gotta go take care of the monster, but I'll talk to you all later.  Hope all is well for you.
