I won't make it a goal just yet, because it is perhaps more of a dream than goal just yet. Having said that, I've been taking a closer look at kijiji.com for a used motorcycle. It really is window shopping, because financially I don't see it happening anytime soon. But heck, I'm convinced it would give me some new-found freedom on weekends that I don't have the kids. I figure that with some extra days wrapped around a weekend, I could have enough time to get some half-decent road trips in.

There are some definite practical benefits, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-)

Not much else to say this point. Just biding my time. Cleaning house. Filing paperwork. Constructive busy work. :-)

Where there's a will there's a way Rob. I've got a bike (which the x still has) and plan to use it this summer. Could never afford one when I was young so got my first street bike when I was 36. It's great stress relief when you have some time for yourself. I bet NB has some super roads to explore.

I bought a used Yamaha Midnight Maxim 750 when I was in Kingston (a couple of years into my first job). Rode for several years after that, including an amazing trip to Vancouver and back. It was definitely an older bike with a few problems, which is probably why I eventually let it go. However, I trying to talk myself into finding a way - something for me. I think it will be bring me joy, and give me some freedom of movement. I so want to get rid of my line of credit loan, and such a purchase would really delay that. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. :-)
