Take a three-week vacation and I feel so out of touch with everyone. I've just finished the first two weeks and a bit. I'm now beginning the trek back to New Brunswick. We'll stop to visit family and friends in Kingston (Wednesday) and Cornwall (Thursday), then the longer 9-hour drive to Fredericton.
The kids don't really need to be back until Sunday, but on account of them missing three weeks of baseball, I didn't want them to miss the end-of-season baseball jamboree on Saturday. So, I'm trying to get back at a reasonable hour on Friday night, so they can try and get a good night sleep before Saturday. I say try because I'll admit their sleeping patterns while on vacation have been less then normal. The last night at the camp then went to bed at around 10 p.m. and didn't wake up until after 11 a.m. the following morning. :-) Wish I could do that. It doesn't seem to matter when I go to bed, my internal clock always seems to want me up at about 6:30 a.m. or so. :-)
When I get home, I'll post a few pics of the vacation. Unfortunately, their only of the kids. Someone needs to be behind the camera. :-(
No lottery wins for me. I was buying the occasional ticket while on the road. Looking forward to catching up with everyone when I finally get back to New Brunswick. I do hope that all is well.
