Howdy, good Sunday morning.
Today looks like one big miserable, gloomy, yucky mess outside. What a constrast to yesterday.
I did feel well enough yesterday to get outside. It was great! We went to the wharf. Little problem there. I already know this, but went ahead anyway...that's the ultimate definition of insanity, repeating the same behavior and expecting different results....anyway, when one goes by the water the temperature drooooooooooops. So we got to the wharf in the warmth of the sun in the car, but upon exiting the car,the wind from the water practically knocked me over. And it was freezing. I mean freezing cold there. Needless to say, we popped back into the car before hypothermia could set in and took off......to the park!!!!
The park was gorgeous! We found a sunny spot under a tree where it wasn't hot, right in the middle of a jogging path. So, there were people passsing by and talking with their headphones on, just jogging and keeping up the pace wtih their friends. It's Spring, and it really felt like it yesterday.
After the park, guess what we did??? We went to DAIRY QUEEN!!! What else to go with a lovely day than chocolate ice cream???? Are you kidding me....it's a no brainer. Bobby likes chocolate sprinkles on his cones, I likeum plain. Straight up. Just chocolate and me....alone....I do not share....it is mine.....period.
We had a great day. I'm thankful that I felt well enough to enjoy what I was doing. It makes all the difference when we get a couple of those days where you almost forget how badly you usually feel. It was wonderful!
Ok, I hope some of you still have some left over sunshine today.

So glad you enjoyed the park visit oh and the icecream, nothing like it! Yes we live near the coast and often get that cool breeze, it's great in the summer (like air conditioning) but at this time of year when we want it to be warmer, it just chills things. Started sunny here and was lovely (much warmer than yesterday) but clouded over now and looks like rain. Hugs to you Darla xxx

Can't remeber when or if Terry ever took me to a dairy Queen!! LOL You sound so happy doing the smallest things with Bobby and that is what love is alabout. Simple but together? Do you guys still hold hands. Park and kiss..LOL I could go on and on .. WOOO HOOOOOO!!!!! Getting out is great!!! I tried to go to the beach this weekend as well. Just can't handle the extreme changes in temp!

Glad you got to get out and enjoy the day! Dairy Queen sounds great! Speaking of 'not sharing chocolate...' in the winter months my mom used to always keep a little stash of chocolate turtles under her car seat!

Wow we dont have Dairy Queen here, I dont think? Sounds yummy. We do have Death by Chocolate, I think.... You had a great time out, doesn't it make you feel abit more normal to be doing these things! Does me. Something nice about watching water too.
