Ahhhhhhhhhhh, that feels so much better. Just a little release of pent up hostility at my illness, my sore neck, the hot weather and stoooooooooopid SSD!!! Glad I got that all out. I shall now move forward with my day!!
Gonna be a quiet one here. We had some nasty storms come rockin and rolling through our area around four o'clock this morning. I was having a tough time resting, between my bad shoulder and now my stiff neck (I WILL stop wrestling with that moose while sleeping!), so I was half awake already when the storm started. Nice bright lightening and roaring thunder, oh yea.....a sleeper's paradise!! I woke up at eight thirty...how, I don't know. Missed half of my Sundy go to meetin Preacher (drat) and then warbled downstairs to get my cereal and decaf.
Of course, Bobby didn't sleep either, so I think we'll just avoid each other today.....if possible, til after nappy time and see if we can't just "perk up" a bit!!
No more critter sounds in the roof! This is a good thing. Bobby blew some kind of foam in there to get "things" to evacuate and then once cleared out, he put a mesh screen over the small hole. Now we hear nothing. Hopefully no little creatures were injured in this procedure. Darby, his squirrel is ok. Bobby really thinks it was a few birds running in and out making a nest.
He has built at least five birdhouses and one birdie condo (no kidding...huge birdhouse with twelve individual dwellings...each with their own private entrance), and yet they go and try to nest in my roof. Go figure.......
Anyhoot, the rain did not cool the humidity down. It's gonna be another miserable day. I'm gonna rest and go easy on my neck. We have those, throw um in the microwave, wrap around your neck thingies that work wonders....it'll hit the spot right where it hurts!!

Well glad to see no Darby roof ornaments..whew.I doubt that would have happened. Bobby prob knew where his Darby was when he did it..

Hope u feel better soon. Try some very simple tilts of head with warm thing around neck. But brace neck as u do...It will start to loosen it up..

darla, Terry has trouble with his neck and back when sleeping so I bought him a bean pillow and it worked, he has not had any neck or back pain, maybe this will work for you, just a thought . I feel so bad your in pain wish I could take it all away from you. I love you sweetie. Frieda

Please send some of that rain our way! We are burning up here! These temperatures in the 100s are too much!!! I will be praying for your neck to start feeling much better today. It is miserable to have the pain in your neck along with the fibro throughout your body. Glad to hear Bobby was able to take care of your little feathered friends. I hope our raccoons don't decide to come back for a visit! LOL Maybe you and Bobby should both try to take today and get some much needed rest if you can. Blessings on this beautiful day of our Lord! Have a nice rest day and a nap.....hope that thing around your neck does the trick. So sorry about the SSD I know how stressful the whole process is...I was denied too. I didn't appeal it because I just didn't want to go through it all again....all that paper work and we hadn't made copies of anything. We asked them to send us copies and they never did! It's true though that most people who stick with the process sometimes more than one appeal, finally DO get it approved. Love & hugs for a quiet restful Sunday. XO Robyn

Know what's really weird? I had that neck thing about a week ago .... I could hardly even turn my head! PTL it's all gone now!!! Sometimes those symptom shifts CAN be helpful! LOL

Darla, Let it out!!! What are you doing to help your neck? When my back and neck get bad, I take advil and a pain relieving creme. You or Bobby can buy it over the counter. It's like Ben Gay. Yes ... I know it smells, but it helps! I have some in my cabinet ... Extra strength icyhot creme. I'll put it on at night and I swear it helps loosen everything.

OOOOooooo, poor neck! Those microwave thingys work well, I hope it works fast too! Ugh, it's so hard to deal with anything when your neck is in pain! GO AWAY OUCHIE NECK PAIN!! SHOO....there, that should help! My work here is done!

Those birdies love your ceiling/under roof cuz thay are near you! Now how sweet is that, and they are probably warmer than in one of Bobby's wonderful bird houses. Good job Bobby. Take care in that humidity.

Sorry about the neck and back! I have problems to and no matter what it is always at least annoying if not completely disruptive to everything!

I love it when it rains and thunders but it is not so loving when I am sleeping! I have enough problems sleeping you know? I think most of us do!
No church for me. Churhches around here are not nice places. I worship at home with my dear god notebook, crystals and meditation. Plus just believing I suppose.
