Hi there, it's Thursday. Welcome!
We had some really scary storms here last night. The lightening was extremely bright and just kept going and going (like the energizer bunny), one continuous flash after another...then the thunder just boomed. I'm a full grown adult, but I gotta tell ya, this stuff was scary! We were under a tornado watch for over an hour in our county. I don't remember that EVER happening here in Joisey!! As I sit at the window this morning, it's still dark outside and there is still thunder rumbling out there. Needless to say I slept fitfully, but I'll catch up on that later this morning.
Today is Bobby's stress test. He and I are both a bit nervous about it. He has very little lung to do this with and he's not allowed to have contrast dye because of his kidney insufficiency...so we're not quite sure what they're doing to do with him.
Anyway, he has been fasting since last night, no coffee or anything this morning, and he's been up since five. His appointment is at eleven. Then they tell him it will be a three hour test. SO this man is a hungry, anxious, six foot bear right about now. Wish I could feed him. I'll make sure he has his favorite beef and noddles for supper tonite. At least when he gets home he'll have something to look forward to!
So off I go to help him get mentally prepared for a long day. Just a little talking and hugging and re-assurance and loving oughta do it. I've asked him if he wants me to go with him. He doesn't. He knows he's going to spend a lot of time waiting and he doesn't want to put me through that. So we will just pray together before he leaves, that the test will go smoothly and he won't have any difficulties!
My heart is with Bobby right now...gonna go sit with him for a while.

So storms got u too...It was horrible here..Lightning strikes were in the 100s...scary...

Now to Bobby Bear..Prayers for u both.I so hope it wont be so difficult for him today...we know how are mens lungs are and I never want another stress test..
So Big prayers to you both, may Bobby bear have strength to get through..Just remind him there is food on other side of test...It usually works for slick...

Here comes the sun-hope you and Bobby get good news, good results, and enjoy the yummy dinner which will be sooooooooo good after a day like that. He sounds like a strong person-inside and out.

I know all about those crazy storms...hit hard here too....lots of flooding....be careful stay dry....my canoe may come in real handy if this weather keeps up like this. Good investment Darla...saves on gas and it's very cheap compared to cars...no A/C though :(

I'm hoping everything went well. I know that they can do a medicine-induced stress test, where they speed up the heart with medicine instead of exercise...maybe that's what they did? I'll wait to read your report on it. Hoping everything tested okay! *HUGS*

Prayers are with all who have had to weather the storms! Also for you and for Bobby as he takes his test. You two do have a wonderful and very special way with each other...Treasure it always, as I'm most sure you both do! I have my own Bobby Bear here at home, too! (A nickname from high school).
