Karla, I hope you are doing okay. I am new to this site and I was reading your post. I have Grade I vaginal cancer cells, and my doctor has not really said much, if the aldara cream did not work (will know my next pap), what my options are? Do you mind me asking if you had any symptoms of vaginal cancer before being diagnosed? I was to have 2 more treatments of the aldara, but I had a severe reaction to it, so I only had one. It is a cream used for warts, but they have found it to wipe out cancer cells too. Hope it was okay that I wrote. I will be sending good thoughts your way. EllaBlue
Just my thoughts are with you, I have been dealing or trying to deal with this for 2 years. It seems that I know way to many people going though this same thing, You keep your head up and take care. Deb
i just had a biopsy Wed pm for endometrial cancer and won't find out till next week sometime. I also have fibro and am in PT due to foot problems...life is unfair but keep the faith and know you are not alone. God Bless
Diagnosed 3/10/06 with squamous carcinoma in the Bartholin gland. On 3/15/06 I had a radical hemi-vulvectomy. On 4/19/06 I had blood clots in my leg and went on coumadin for 6 mos. From 5/22/06 - 7/18/06 I had radiation and chemotherapy (Cisplatin). On 7/6/06 I was admitted to the hospital for four days with Neutropenia (low white blood cell count). Because of the inactivity and weakness, I now am going to physical therapy to regain range of motion and strength in my hips and legs.
