About Me
Even though I have been diagnosed with several ongoing conditions myself, I hope to be able to offer support and advice here whenever I'm able. Having to give up my job because of TN, I looked for another way to contribute money to our family, from home. Friends and family enjoy the way I write and suggested that I become a professional paid reviewer. My love for software and web design, has led me to a new and rewarding life from home, as I test and review all kinds of software and web sites for their design elements too. This way, if I have a TN attack, I can simply take my liquid oxycodone and try and sleep once the attack ends. You can catch me at:Swan Reviews (Almost!) Everything http://swan-reviews-almost-everything.blogspot.com I don't think that anyone can have too many friends - feel free to add me if you wish. :)

Hug
Thank you so much for the encouragement. It is also my desire to by the grace of God be an encouragement and inspiration to those who need it. At this point praise God I am still able to work although I have had to be out due to TN, TMJ, ad migraine issues that rear their ugly little head. Again thanks for your encouragement and I pray that I can be there for you!

Support Groups
Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
The pain produced in my face, ranges from over my right eyebrow, across my top lip, my lower jaw line and excruciating, referred pain deep in my right ear.
Treatments
- Tegretol Somewhat Helpful
- Only Tegretol + Nerontin helps. Attacks went from a few a DAY, to 2 or 3 times each 14 days. I need the highest doses of both medications. I always have to take blood tests, to monitor my liver because of the Tegretol. Please be careful with this drug. NO gamma knife or injection into the ganglion for me, because of its permanent numbing effect around the area of the procedure - about 2" x 2". I also read that the gamma knife *MIGHT* make a person more prone to cancer when older.
