Thursday Morning  HIKING VIDEOS

Good morning. I finally got a hike in yesterday before the rain came at about 4pm. This is a hike I did a few weeks ago to a cascade, but I saw a very tall waterfalls or cliff way down the trail.  I was going to try and get to the top of that, but I couldn't. It was to steep and all moss covered with roots and large rocks. I kept slipping. I think I only made it half way up. Today I'm paying the price for it. My whole body hurts from falling and slipping and climbing straight up. It's gonna be an Tylenol day!

I hope everyone else is doing well. Have a great Independence Day, and don't forget what the day REALLY means. It's America's Birthday!

See you all in a few days. Margaret and I are going away until Sunday. Keep the light on for us!

   WOW Joey ! What a beautiful hike that is ! Thanks soo much for sharing ! I used to hike before my back troubles, and your video brought back many memories ! :} I can't really hike anymore, afraid I will fall and hurt myself ! :{ We have down here what is called Tunica Hills, and they are very steep and has quite a few falls in the area. you can be standing atop one *hill* and the next looks like it's just right there, then when you try to get to the next one it's a mile down and another back up to the next hill ! It's very beautiful !! The water coming down all the falls is so crisp and clean you can drink right from the falls ! In a couple spots you can even take a dip if you dare, cause the water is ice cold year round even down here ! It's awesome !
   Now, I stick to the bayous, swamps and rivers, and ride in our boat. It's easier on me and I get the satisfaction of being outdoors in all of the splendor it beholds. I just LOVE your photoslide ! The rock steps and the frog and the beautiful woods !! I think your idea of the DailyStrength t-shirt is a GREAT IDEA ! I just might have to steal it ! LOL :} Well, I will take pics while I'm out in the bayoucountry this weekend, to share when I return. I hope you and Margaret have a GREAT 4th of JULY !!!

   Enjoyed your videoes and the slide show. You are so creative. Went on an adventure myself last night. Went downtown to the July 4 celebration and fireworks. There was a very big crowd. That made me anxious but I tolerated it. Even had a good time. Has been a very long time since I have ventured out like that.
