Oh Dear! Poor baby. I have been there. My mind wouldn't shut up. After being on meds or awhile I woke up one day and it was quiet. Try to put a stop sign up in your head when you start to follow the thoughts. Don't follow them. I mean really picture a stop sign. When you start to follow the thoughts tell yourself I am not going there. It will be hard at first but it helped me a lot. It does sound like you need some meds for awhile to help you get yourself together so you can cope. You are not going crazy. I promise. I was in a mental hospital once. It helped some because it took me out of my day to day and I actually got some rest. They have daily group sessions and you eat on a regular basis. That helps. Anxiety group outside of the hospital helped a bunch. Just knowing you are not alone and other people have some of the same stuff going on. It is OK. Let me know if I can help. kr45
