I have been experiencing chronic pain for the past 6 years. Progressivly getting worse instead of better. I moved to Ireland from the states 2 years ago. Medically, I'm not sure that was the right move.

Close Back Pain
i have lower back pain along with severe sciatic pain to the left buttock and leg. t his has been going on 6 years now with no relief. i also suffer from severe IBS, so any anti inflams is out of the questions....depression is massive since walking is a major pain.
Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- at the expense of doing this, after the 6th treatment..i decided no more
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- made pain worse
- Cortisone (Injection) Not Working
- 1 out of 4 lasted a total of 2 weeks
Close Chronic Pain
stories are so long, so i'll keep it short..back pain, sciatic pain longer then 6 years, without relief. I also suffer from IBS x 20 years.
Treatments
- Acupressure Not Working
- very short term fix
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- i did try this x 8. it's something that you have to be prepared to do over and over like a chiropractor
- Heat Working / Worked
- heat does help but the sciatic pain comes through. the affects end when the heat ends
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- it did help, at least dulled the response to the pain. but, here in ireland, there isn't any hydrocodone. I also took soma while in the states did help with sleeping
- Meditation Working / Worked
- i meditate daily. most times it does take the edge off. it hard to keep in the habit of doing it
- Naproxen Not Working
- my stomach cannot handle any type of anti inflammatory
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- tried PT for 6 months. did nothing for the pain

I have had Chronic pain for the past 6 years without a diagnosis. My MRI and other scans have been within normal limits but the pain is progressively gettign worse
Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
I started out with symptoms in 1988. Of course doctors want to pin it on something else. I had, had mild endomitriotris in the past, so the docs said it had to be that. The had also done some other scans, and a hepatobiliary scan. I kept asking if my gallbladder could be involved, the said no, i didn't meet the criteria...fair, fat and 40. The next week i had a part. hyst. Guess what? that wasn't it! ...this is really too long of story..i'm sure you catch my drift

- i use this now,faithfully
