About Me
62 yr old white female stroke survior.I have 4 daughters, 2 grandsons and new little great granddaughter. I have stacked double vision and no use of left hand or left leg. Can "walk" alittle with cane but use wheelchair most of time. I am widowed. Love to read. tv cook. I usually feel good but sometimes everything sucks. I am so glad I have God in my life. He is my strength.I do get lonely sometimes and would love to have some new friends. I have made many wonderful friends here on DS. i would still love to have more. A person can never have too many friends.
Interests
Reading, tv, movies, cooking, laughing at silly jokes, tending to my chldren and my kitty baby Precious.

I have been bad in health still recovering from a stroke & now got infection in my feet through water retention, the are like balloons, so having to rest a lot. Hi Pat, how are you I hope you are well & having a good week. I am struggling with bad health, my left side has not recovered yet & now my feet are very swollen with water retention & an infection, I asked yesterday for my doctor to come out to see me and he would not just said over the phone it sounds like a infection if it is still the same on Saturday start taking antibiotics he is arranging to be delivered for me, I thought is it the case of you having to be dead before you get a home visit from your own GP!!!! Hi Pat, I have the use of my left leg and my arm but not my hand as yet, saw my doctor today and he is concerned, ha, just gave me more medication and said see what the stroke specialist says on the 29th of August, 2 days after my birthday, if its no better by then I will expect him to do some thing. Still that's life, I have set up 2 Friendships groups up on MSN, as was asked to which has given me some thing to aim for & try to take my mind of the problems I have been having.
