The next step...
Well, I had a bunch of blood drawn for hormone testing. All my hormone levels are normal. I guess …
well to start off, me and geoff broke up a few days ago. i went and stayed with my parents for like 4 nights. i came home last night and were trying to work it all out. i really hope we can. i love him more than anything and i want to be with him. i just couldnt deal with things he was doing... anyways. things are already looking better and its only been a day now. so hopefully it will all work out. maybe we just needed a little time apart.
i went for a doctors appointment yesterday were i had to drink some more of that glucose crap. and get my blood drawn. i did it before but my results came back a little high. so i instead of the 1 hour test, i was suposed to doa 3 hour one. so i got there, got my blood drawn, then drank that crap (and it is crap) lol. and after the first hour i got my blood drawn again. about 30 minutes after that i puked all over the place there so they couldnt draw my blood. (it was suposed to get drawn 2 more times). the doctor just told me to go home and relax, and hopefully they can get all they need from that one drawing. i really hope so cuzi do not want to try drinking that again. have any of u had it? omg its horrid!! it makes me feel sooo friggin gross. the first time i had it i puked then too, but it was all after my blood was drawn. ugh. i really dont want to have to drink it again. anyways i havent found out the results yet, i wont know for a few days, and then the doctor is suposed to clal me and let me know... please pray i dont have to drink that again! and i really dont want gestational diabetes either... i hope it all went okay... im praying.
one more thing i just wanted to ask about, and im going to post it in the pregnancy forum anyways. but i figured id ask here as well. there was someone who mentioned a popping noise while pregnant just a few weeks ago. and my advice to them was that they should ask their doctor about it, cuz it didnt seem normal to me. but i didnt really know... anyways, ive noticed that from time to time when im laying down just watching my baby move inside of me, theres this popping noise! its really weird, kind of like when your bones pop, but its a louder kind of sound i think. its really weird, but if any of you know what it is, or if its normal please let me know. im going to ask my doctor about it. my next appointment isnt until the 29th of this month though and id like a little reassurance if thats possible! thanks! ((hugs))

sorry you've been stressing. you need to relax and if things get bad again you need to go back to your parents house. pregnancy and stress do not go together. don't know about the sound. take care. love and hugs, meg

I had the three hour glucose. I have a sweet tooth so I drank it all and did the test. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was so glad! I finally got an answer as to why some thing were going on that I could not explain. I have had ankles for over a week now, I am never hungry and my baby is more active then ever because my diet (his too) is under control. I was afraid at first and thought it to be my fault, but they said it is just the pregnancy hormones that start being produced in the last trimester that can make our bodies insulin not be as effective. I am currently doing mine without injections and intend to be strict about it so I do not have to do the injections. I see a nutritionist who specializes in gestational diabetes along with seeing my doctor once a week. I hope all that helps.
