Well I hit the triple crown today.

Morning started with a PFT (pulmonary function test).My Lung function is down to 31%.

No surprise there really..I knew the winter set me back.

Then on to sign paperwork about Melissa.The prize asses where she is have told her nothing of what is going on, so we had to be the voice of doom.

At best she was crushed.Her one hope had been that chemo treatments would have her back to some semblance of a life.She was waiting to come back to her little apartment.

Try as I might I don't think I will forget the look on her face for a long time if ever.

Got home from that to find a message from the health center.I called and was told I could come right over.(now THERE'S a clue I live in a very small town)

Results were in from bloodwork I had before Easter.She didn't have the heart to tell me before.

Turns out I have diabetes.

Have been hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) since my late 20s and was told that it is often a precursor to diabetes, especially with a family history of it like I have.So while it wasn't unexpected, it still took the starch out of me.

Oh, and I have to see an oncologist about getting a biopsy on a "spot" on my skin.

Other than that, everything is fine...just friggin peachy.
