Yesterday at Walgreen's I had to train one of the new managers in photo.  She's much younger than I am.  She finally asked me about working 2 jobs and what does my husband think about my working so much and what he does for income.  I'm thinking here we go...it's the second time this week I've been asked.  People who meet me would never suspect that I'm married to a man who's incarcerated.  Then they're especially shocked to find out that I married him in prison.  I told Helen that Shannon's incarcerated, but he doesn't like the fact that I have to work so much.  I told her it keeps me busy and keeps the devil from whispering shit into my ear and head.  An hour or so later, she admitted that she has a brother who is incarcerated.  We now share a bond she has with no one else there.  Likewise, you'd never know she has a family member incarcerated upon meeting her either.

Eva is in heat and driving me nuts!  This is her first cycle and she has no idea what is happening.  She's freaking out over the least little noises and of course I'm constantly mopping the floor behind her.  I've tried not to put her outside much 1) because of the weather and 2) because of the "traveling salesman", but she's going stir crazy being couped up in the house.  Everyone tells me that even though I have a very nice fenced backyard, the males will climb the fence to get to her.  After all the crap we've been through - some puppies by a daddy I didn't particularly pick won't cause me to have a nervous breakdown. LOL  I have found a really nice male boxer to breed her and his family are willing to take pick of the litter for stud.  We just have to find a mutually convenient date(s) to get them together.
