Close Alcoholism
I am a 39 year old woman and live in the San Francisco area. I suffer from chronic alcoholism. I am new in recovery and still don't have sobriety figured out. I have relapsed a lot. I am determined not to give up though.
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Too Soon to Tell
- AA Meetings Too Soon to Tell
- Residential Treatment Center Too Soon to Tell
- Only started this about 1 week ago (Feb 16, 2008); so far no desire to drink.
Close Breakups & Divorce
I originally came to DS to join the alcoholism group. I have gotten some amazing advice there and made a lot of lovely friends. Now, I am legally separated from my H and it looks like we will get a divorce. I am an alcoholic and I have been in and out of recovery. I have a 6 1/2 year old daughter who is the light of my life. I have a lot of fear about my marriage ending, but I am trying to cope with it and be the best person I can be.
