Well it didn't go great at the GI doctor yesterday. My gallbladder scan came back abnormal so I have to see a surgeon on the 18th and I have to have a colonoscopy (FUN!) on July 17th. I wanted to wait for the colonoscopy until after my vacation to Wisconsin coming up. So looks like I will be having my gallbladder removed, Yeah! I am so sick of all this shit. All the doctors and tests and procedures. Guess the bloodwork he did yesterday was normal, so they say today. So I will see the surgeon on the 18th and probably plan for surgery late July. Guess I have to find the money for the surgery and colonoscopy co-pays! Insurance is such a joke. $150 for my colonoscopy and God knows what for surgery. What happened to not paying for tests and surgery??? This is really putting a dent into our financies that we were finally getting together little by little.... One shit after another!! Hopefully all this crap helps me and I can feel a bit better. It would be nice to not have my stomach symptoms anymore..... crossing fingers & toes!!!

I have to pay $150 for outpatient surgery and $150 a day for inpatient up til $450 then they pay 100%. BULLSHIT!!!! I will push hard for outpatient, which I hear can be done! I want to recover at home with my bed, my tv, my books, and my BABIES!!

Marie, I hope things will be better for you soon. I had my gallbladder out several years ago. I was afraid at 1st but it's not as bad as we think. Be brave.
With stomach problems cancer can be in the throat too. I still have to take medication and worry all the time about both areas.
Maybe this isn't the time to say this, but I wanted to get it off my mind, when I added some things to my web site, the 1st guest book accidentally got erased. Didn't want you to think I took off your post there. Sorry.
Anyway, I'll be thinking about you. Don't worry about the operation, it will be ok. Good luck to you.
