What Should I do???? Mood
Friday, April 25, 2008 | A Call For Help story

Just really need some advice following on from the last journal entry where I was saying that I was removed from all things to do with politics due to something that I was not aware that I was doing.

The decision is still in place and was wondering if I should pursue trying to appeal the decision on the basis of not having a warning proir to being removed, I now realise that I did wrong and since being told I had done wrong I have taken every step to try to change whatever I did wrong but by then the dicision was made to remove me.

So my question is should I try to appeal the decision and ask that now I am aware that I have done wrong that instead the decision being perment rather give me a period of time to prove that I can behave myself, as I really enjoy doing this type of work and really dont want to lose it due to something that I was not aware that I was doing wrong.

Also since hearing that I was doing wrong I have not been in communication at all with this person as I really dont want to make the situation worse rather I want to resolve it and continue working together.

EVERYONE HAS THE HUMAN RIGHT AS A PERSON TO APPEAL AN INJUSTICE TOWARDS THEM! YOU MADE A MISTAKE (UNWILLINGLY, OF COURSE) AND YOU ARE LEARNING FROM IT NOW. MY ADVISE? APPEAL, APPEAL, APPEAL! THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE! PRAY ABOUT IT FOR IT TO HAPPEN IN YOUR FAVOR AND IT WILL. READ MATTHEW 6:33..."SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU."

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER GIVE UP ON HOPE...AND REMEMBER, "FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS UNSEEN. (HEBREWS 4:13)(PLEASE CHECK THAT ONE).

HOPE I HAVE HELPED YOU OUT.

    SINCERELY YOURS,
    JON
P.S. I know that it seems like I'm 'shouting' at you, but that is the opposite thing that I want to do. I ALWAYS type in caps to stress what I am saying,ok?

    Hey,

I would write a letter just saying that you are sorry, that you were unaware that you were doing a), b), and c) wrong and that you would appreciate an opportunity to show your supervisor(s) that you can perform your job properly and will rectify the damage that you've done. But that you understand if this opportunity can't be made available and you hope to leave on good terms and appreciate being able to work in that position with everyone. I wouldn't play the blame game at all (ie. I was terminated unfairly) at this point as it could only cause more problems. I hope this helps, and I hope that you are taking care of yourself - I know this has been hard on you.

Good idea messaging me so I would comment - it's the easiest way and I always comment when my friend's ask. Much love - Janie
