Saturday at 10:25a.m. Keith Ettore Gallo was born weighing 5lbs 7oz and 18 1/2 in long. I started the early stages of labor friday morning but didnt go into active labor until about 8a.m. on saturday. They broke my water and started me on pitocin at around 10. I went from 5cm dilated to 10cm in about 20min. I was one of the lucky ones. I had a scare with his heartbeat, everytime a contraction hit his heartbeat would drop dramatically so they put me on oxygen but fortunately I was able to deliver with no major problems. We are both home and aside from him being a little jaundice he is doing wonderful. It still doesnt feel real to me. Everytime I look at him I feel blessed. I hope everyone is doing well and good luck to all the ones who are waiting for their little ones to be born.
