Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSBegan August 2007 as a feeling that my foot was going to sleep. It progressed up through my legs and into my abdomen. As I was going from pillar to post trying to get a diagnosis this summer, I decided that MS was my best case scenario-at least I can manage it & I won't have to have any surgeries on my brain. I am fortunate to work in a profession(special ed) that understands disability and a community of loving friends.
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- 1 year anniversaru-only 1 new leison, current leisons have improved!
- Physical Therapy Too Soon to Tell
- Just started neuromuscular therapy. Will have 2 sessions per week for one month.
