Ok, I'm sorry, but I am gonna whine for a moment...I am tired of being sick. I don't mean the Lyme disease sick, I'm used to that, I mean the added insult to injury, this UTI and bronchitis crap! I am done with my second anti-biotic and I dont think it did poo.... I still have the inhaler (thank God) I have to call doc for more decongestant and ask him what exactly I should expect at this point in the game. I still feel pretty dang crappy. I am looking at a month now although thankfully , I am no where near as ill as I was at the beginning, I still don't feel well. I mean, I don't expect to feel better than I did before the flu, just AS good! I am still running temperatures periodically, and I can't catch my breath when I exert myself and I still feel as I have a bladder infection......grrrrrrr. my days off are spent laying in the bed sweating, freezing ,and not sleeping but 3-4 hours a day......not makin sense. ok, Ive ranted enough. will call doc monday. Hope all are well.
try canberry juice or pills to keep UIT away it helps, so ask your doc if you could do breathing treatment at home they can help your bronchitis and keep your air ways open. hope this helps take care of your self.

Bronchitis is no fun. I contracted it in October and it lasted through January. I had no idea that it could last this long, but the x-rays taken in different months confirmed it. I also know about the sinus problems that go along with the bronchitis and can relate to your inhaler. I had to go on a nebulizer as well. I hope that your condition is already much, much better! Had somone diagnosed me correctly last fall, I probably wouldn't have had such a long time of this. I still am struggling with sinus problems and now allergies. My MS seems to be quiet now and I hope it stays that way until this other stuff clears up. Be sure to take ALL of your antibiotics. If you continue to have difficulty catching your breath, you might consider asking your doctor for a nebulizer and the medicine that you put into it. The nebulizer is very, very helpful for breathing. You can still keep the inhaler as well (usually, depends upon what has been described). Get well! Take care of yourself.
