Still fighting with the porch?! It's so freaking hot here in CT I'm staying inside in the central air-conditioning! How are you feeling otherwise? I have been having a rough go of it lately- my hip is rotated back (because of my leg) and it's causing lots of internal pain. I've been going to physical therapy and it's helping but it's painful. I go in for more spinal injections Wednesday evening so that should help. I'm also having some teeth issues:( Bridgework-yuck! LeighAnn flies in on Tuesday for a couple of weeks and I just got Hailey off to the Cape with her friends yesterday, she'll be back next Saturday. Have you been keeping tabs on Neicy? Keep her in your thoughts and prayers, I'm going to check in on her situation now I just wanted to drop a quick note off to you. Hang in there kiddo! I'm sure the deck looks great- think of how nice it will be sitting out there sipping your iced tea...xoxoLyn

I suggest you give the sander a small plot in the backyard with a few flowers planted over it. After eating the power cord it probably isn't safe to use. Maybe "it" was suasidle?(sp?) Love the job so far..Deb

Close Lupus
I was diagnosed with lupus in 1990, and in 2004, it affected my CNS wreaking havoc on my life.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Too Soon to Tell
- I didn't take it long enough to see if it helped in any significant way.
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- I love Cellcept! It has been helpful with controlling the lupus-related vasculitis that manifests itself painfully on my finger tips.
- Cyclophosphamide Working / Worked
- This was used to control the inflammation in my brain when the lupus affected my central nervous system.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- I take it for the anemia that I experience associated with the lupus. I take it in conjunction with iron as well as vitamin C for absorption of iron.
- Fosamax Working / Worked
- I've been taking it since prednisone is known to break down bone tissue...so far my DEXA scans show no signs of bone breakdown.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- this form of treatment is used in conjunction with the Cellcept to control the pain associated with lupus-related vasculitis... I just love it!
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- I've been taking it on and off during the course of the illness... no eye or renal problems as of yet.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I've taken it throughout the entire course of the illness. My doctor and I are currently working on weaning me off the medication.
