Journal Entry for July 24, 2008 Mood
Thursday, July 24, 2008

What a fun day. After almost ten years of painting, as a hobby, I finally had someone come to the house and hang my treasures. That was another item on my to do list before I go back to work. I feel like I live in a museum now. I am so proud of myself for getting it done and the beautiful work I have accomplished.

I drove to work for a practice run today. It isn't bad at all. I am very excited. When I got home there was a message from the HR woman telling me some info including see you on Monday. Reality is setting in that I actually have a new job, WOW!

It seems so easy to forget about the place I left behind. When I hear about this or that I think, glad that isn't my problem anymore, lol. I will NOT miss those problems.

Wow, you should be getting excited. It is so good, they are not your problems anymore. That is so wonderful about your paintings. They probably should be in a gallery, but then you couldn't enjoy them. It is so great that you have an artistic outlet. I couldn't paint a dot and have it look right, but that's just me. Ok, so I am jealous of anyone and everyone that has any artistic talent, but that's my problem, not yours. Congrats on getting everything done and having it all lined up in time for the new job. Have a great week :) Gretchen
