I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for a little over two years. this started when I had a complete hystercomy and to top it off no hormones allowed because of history of blood clots so since then I have not been myself, sad but true........
I love animals, arts and crafts, movies bowling anything really.

My doctor exxplained that by taking amatrptaline whilst using opiate medications, (somethimg to do with nerve receptors), it increases the potency . I certainly felt it made a difference in the beggining, I stopped for a while, then resumed amatriptaline and noticed that it did in fact have this effect. I quess its hard to believe what any Doctor says about medications, It's like Here's Prozac, Depression will never ail you, So dont rely on my information, ask your prescribing Doctor. need advice. I think i have fibro at least that is what the doctor has said and has been treating me for but every medicine he has put me on does not seem to work the only thing that seems to help somewhat is loratab. I have been on that for two years now, i finally was able to be seen at the pain clinic, they interviewed me for an hour push on the trigger points and then a few weeks later they sent me a letter telling me that it is not fibro that it is proably psylogical. Im really confused here my Physical Therapist says it is fibro along with my doctor plus the rheumatogist , but like i said the pain clinic says no and a couple of years ago i was at another pain clinic and they said it was all in my head? could it be? I know i suffer with a great deal of pain EVERYDAY. If you have fibro and the doctor pushes on the trigger points all over the body do they all hurt? I guess what im asking is i know the pressure point but i do not feel any pain on the chest area. My worst is in my legs i get it real bad on the side of my thighs u can just barely run your hands down the side and it hurts so bad also my neck shoulders and my arms hip etc. the pain clinic told me that pain in the legs is not part of fibr and also every pressure point they put pressure on should hurt is that true? please someone help me out here. Hope everyone has a good day Sherry
