quite happily plodding on with my life, enjoying watching my children grow up, doing the boring everyday stuff we all take for granted sometimes ( can give or take the housework though!!!!!!!)

just bought a tent so thats exciting at the moment and i have just started playing in a brass band again after about 6 years which i am loving as a bit of independce and "me" time"!!!

Close Parenting Toddlers (1-3)
mum to 15 month old Esme and nine year old Eliza, mmm teething and social life - not a good combination!!!
Close Financial Challenges
month one: debt management plan ok - only one company have being funny sending letters through credit agency so we are just waiting to see what happens there, payments have all gone ok this month and we have reached the end of the month with about £100 to spare which is the first time in about5 years, because i have control of the finances!!!!!!!!
Treatments
- Budgeting Working / Worked
- i work out, what we spen on petrol per week, food and budget bills that are paid quaterly on a weekly basis and bidget accordingly - it is working so far as we have £100 left at the start of next monthly pay!!
- Credit Counseling Working / Worked
- got in touch with debt management plan and they have helped sooo much - finally feel like i can breath a little
- Cut Up Credit Cards Working / Worked
- i never used creditcard, but hubbie used it a lot - now he no longer has that option as i took it off him and cut it up!!! now all he gets is spending money and hes fine with that
- Holding a Garage Sale Working / Worked
- went to a carboot sale, and took a load of stuff that was just sat in the garage - made £100 which bought us our tent, so that we can have cheap holidays - i have a lot more stuff to sell on ebay which is going on in bits and pieces and will be added to the savings fund
Open Hypothyroidism
went to the doctor with finger swelling actually! never thought it would be that - although dad suffers from it - the doctore suspected that it could be under active thyroid - did blood test and came back positive - at least the medication is now making me feel better.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- 100mg thyroxin seems to be doing the trick at the moment - will have to see how we go in november with the blood test
Open Heroin Addiction & Recovery
was addicted to heroin for 5 years, tried to get clean twice, finally succeeded when i left my abusive addicted first husband - been clean for 6 years now and everything is jus tabout back to normal
Treatments
- Naltrexone Working / Worked
- worked for me as i was determined to stay clean and this gave me the impetus to stay clean - i knew if i relapsed it would be pointless
