WELL, MY LITTLE MOMENT OF PEACE ON THE GENDER FRONT IS NOW OVER. MAYBE I AM FOOLING MYSELF, BUT IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENCE ABOUT THE LATEST MOMENT OF QUIET, LIKE SOMETHING FUNDAMENTAL HAD CHANGED. NOW THAT THE STRUGGLE IS BACK, I AM NO LONGER SURE, BUT IT STILL SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING IS DIFFERENENT NOW. IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN WHAT EXACTLY THIS DIFFERENCE MEANS TO THIS STRUGGLE, BUT I HAVE MORE HOPE OF SOME ACCOMIDATION OF MY TWO SELVES. MAY IT BE SO.

It's like a treadmill. I don't know how to tell you to relieve it but here is an idea. I think the worst stress is always caused by a person's negative self-talk. when you notice that you are telling yourself bad things, hopeless things, negative unproductive things, try to stop and distract yourself. One time when you are feeling good, think about a happy memory and make that your permanent safe place in your mind. When you are going around and around on your treadmill, hop off and go to your happy place.
