it was! mom came over early for cake and the gift i got her. she liked both!which was good to just hang out for a bit. i kinda wish she woulda stayed longer. today was good i guess but i didn't do much. but i learned alot about medical school! alot of stuff i need to consider. med schools in the USA are hard to get into.....but the ones in the caribbean are easier to get into. but when i thought of caribbean med schools, i thought of that doctor with the accent from the simpsons. which sux cuz he's kinda the horrible doctor  doing surgeries badly and all. but their are some good ones. and if i want to get into a med school here in the USA, i'll have a better chance if i get a master's degree. so i learned alot today. i'm worried about my college grades. i've never been one for good grades.

btw mom's surgery was bumped up to wednesday. mom's friend is going to pick her up and drop her off. i hope i can go, like for support and stuff.

irony seems to play a huge part in my life. i used to hate needles, hospitals, doctors and even nurses!now i'm itching to start volunteering in the hospital. it looks good on my college application and i want to learn more about my field that i will be working in.

but mom's not getting a new car. so i don't get the van. which means no transportation.  

and i hate canceling things without giving an explanation. i texted my tutor and said "to make a long story short i'll have to cancel tutoring" but she texted back "ok, i hope everythings okay" then i said yup mom was feeling under the weather. since mom's surgery was on wednesday, i'll probly have to cancel then too. i hate that. and we're falling behind in math cuz of all the cancelations.
