Close Epilepsy & Seizures
Had 2 grand mal seizures since 1988 and many, many petite mal seizures after having my sons 6 years ago now planning on having VNS(Vagus Nerve Stimulation) Need to talk to anyone who's had it done
Treatments
- Keppra Not Working
- caused shacking
- Lamictal Somewhat Helpful
- took for over a year but made me so tired and didn't inprove the seizures either
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- took it ever since I was 15 and started having problems just added other to it.
- Vagus nerve stimulation Working / Worked
- Working up to a good extent, shortens blackouts, helps with the magnet that comes with it.
- Zonegran Working / Worked
- Just started on it for a last hope before doing VNS surgery

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionAfter epilepsy getting worse, having to quit my daycare business and driving, trying to rely on someone else to always help me with my to boys since my husbands almost always at work, things have gotten worse and worse everyday they only hope is if I have VNS surgery in probably 2 months. I want my life back.
