Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Seconday Progressive MSI was dx in Aug 06initially as RRMS, but have suffered with this since I was 20years old. I would spend the next 17 years ignoring the problems that came up until I couldn't ignore it anymore and finally got dx. See original journal entry. Now have moved up in the world lol! to SPMS. Also dx w/ degenerative disc disease after bulging disc found in neck.
Treatments
- Avonex Not Working
- Had relapses and the needle was HORRIBLE!
- Citrucel Working / Worked
- Good for the constipation
- Ditropan Working / Worked
- Caused bad constipation
- Rebif Somewhat Helpful
- night sweats, headaches, stomach problems, still having relapses
- Solumedrol Somewhat Helpful
- It helped vision but still goes out. per neuro thats just remaining scarring on nerves
- Symmetrel Working / Worked
- Worked for awhile then stopped working
Close Medicare
I am awaiting medicare after I started recving my ssdi. No ins now, but can't wait for my waiting period to end.
Open Miscarriage
I was told the baby had no heartbeat at 10 weeks and the next day I lost the baby through miscarriage.
Open Homeschooling
I have a four year old and I'm on the fence as to whether or not to homeschool him. I actually taught him at home until I sent him to preschool this year and he knew WAY more than most of the kids in his class. So it's a possibility
