I made 18 months this month. It feels so good to be clean and sober for so long. Never went this long with NOTHING!!! …

Interests
I love to travel and see different cultures and countries. Have been to Fiji, Japan, Tahiti, Carribean, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti, Grand Cayman Islands, Alaska, Canada and of course the U.S.A. I still want to see New Zealand, Europe, Austrailia, Tailand and China.

Close Alcoholism
Not only alcoholism, but addicted to prescription pain medication. I have been clean and sober since Feb. 5, 2007. I started to secretary a noon AA meeting once a week and it seems to be helping me also to stay clean and sober. Love this program and what it is doing for my life. This program has taught me so much about myself and my addiction. I have found God in my life and have found new way to live and be content with myself. I love AA.
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- Working on Step 8 now. Amazing what Step 4 and 5 did to me. Everyone should do this whether alcoholic or not.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- I love these meetings. I am doing 9 to 11 meeting a week. I learn so much from other people's experiences. Love the promise meetings.
- Sleep Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes I have to take Ambien to sleep. It helps me to sleep thru the whole night restful.
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- Has helped me with my addiction. I am on a maintenance program and slowly weinning off this medication
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- For menopause. No more hot flashes and I feel so normal. I will try for 1 year and try to get off completely.
Close Coming Out
I got addicted to Oxycodone and am an alcoholic. I have been on treatment since Oct. 31, 2006. I go to many AA meetings Working Step 8 and started secretary a meeting every Thursday.
Treatments
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- It has helped me get off pain medication and I feel normal now. I have no desire to take pills.
Open Hepatitis C
I Hep C. I did the whole 48 weeks of interferon treatment. I do not have any virus in my blood the last test I took. I did the interferon treatment 6 years ago.

- Has worked. No signs of the virus in me now. 6 years later
- Ribavarin Working / Worked
- These made me sick, but I took it. I couldn't eat and felt blah when I took it.
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- This is helping me in my addiction to pain medication.
