almost one week into IUI Mood

went in first thing this morning for ultrasound and blood work. ultra sound showed about 5 follicles but one that was quite larger than the rest about 17 she said. the nurse called me around 4pm to tell me that they want me to do 2 more days of injections and then come in on Wed morning for another ultrasound and more bloodwork. so that is not too bad. i was hoping for at least two follicles just for better chances of sperm doing their thing, but they at least i know there is one good one in there! the nurse also told me that some of my cervical cultures came back neg so dh and i both need to do ten days of antibiotics. so they called in the prescription. so Wed i guess i will know more. but it looks like this weekend will be insemination time! i go through phases where i am not at all nervous but at this point i am becoming nervous. i want this to work......two more days and then we should know something more!

I know what you mean, it feels like you are hanging from a thread at times. When you want something so much the thought of it not happening is more than you can handle. Hang in there Hun, it sounds good so far.

I know there's phases through all of this, between being hopeful and nervous. I hope this works and you get your BFP.
