hello!
i hope i wasn't missed too much. i was in the hospital for the past three days. i had a slight obstruction in my intestine caused by scar tissue from a surgery to unblock intesting back in 2004. this is actually the second time since the surgery i have been hospitalized for scar tissue obstruction. but i feel good now and am back home. i hate hospitals and last night i became slighly emotional because i was feeling homesick. because i had to have all kinds of x-rays and ultra sounds done i was tested to see if i was pregnant which of course i am not, although AF isn't due for a week. so i am pretty sure af will show like she is supposed on May 2nd. while they ran a cat scan on my lower abdomen and intestines they noticed a cyst on my left ovary. they sent me in for an ultra sound to check that out. doc said its pretty normal after ov to have a cyst and it should just go away on its own. if not then i need bc pill for a month and that should clear it up. i will have to follow up with doc in 6 weeks for another ultra sound to check status of cyst.
so all in all its been a real fun filled and exciting couple of days (i am being sarcastic of course). but i am feeling good and am glad to be back home with my family.

Oh my gosh!! You poor thing!! I hate that you had to go through all this right now! I know it sucks to be in the hospital especially for something like that when we are wanting to be in there for something else! :( Hopefully the test they did for you was to early and you could still be this month! Hang in there and I hope you have a good weekend. You deserve some rest and relaxation!!!

Well I am glad that you are home, but sorry that the pg test wasn't positive. But my doc told me that you can't really rely on blood tests to show any results until a few days before missed AF. So don't get tooo disappointed yet. Baby dust to you :)

I'm sorry to hear you had to stay in the hospital, but that's great you're back home now. I hope the cyst goes away on its own.
