It looks like our warm weather is here for at least a while... love it.  Had a rough couple of last days.  I've had two neck fusions (anterior and posteriour) due to an old work injury in the early 1980's.

 

While reaching for something two days ago I felt something pop in my neck in the area of the first fusion... major pain and couldn't move my right arm without feeling pain all the way up the right side of my head. It hasn't gone away and I guess I just adapted to it.  Slept off and on in the night and finally took my little round neck pillow and slept sitting up on our love seat.  

 

Had an MRI done about 2 months ago to see what has been causing a scrapping crackling sound in my neck, but my doctor hasn't followed up on it so I called her office yesterday and found out she's gone for the next two weeks. 

 

I used to work in medical records and knew that I could get another doctor there to look at the MRI.  First I was told no, but knowing that they already had the report I pushed a little and finally got their staff to find my MRI report and got another doctor to read it.  Now they're sending it to an outside neurologist to check out.  Getting a Px for an anti-inflammatory today and hope that will help.  Bummer, but glad to be able to get up and walk around.  Just having trouble raising my head up and can't turn it to the right without lightening bolt pain. 

 

My Geomar is an angel, he's taking such good care of me!  He's been doing everything around here and making me take it slow and easy.  He is such a blessing, I'm so lucky to be married to my very best friend and lover!

 

Going to get out of the house today.  Life is good and this is just a small speed bump along the way.  Need to stop typing for now.  Have a great day buds.  Spring is here and can't wait to be out and about.  Bless you all.
