Thanks to all of you who have sent me messages, comments and hugs. I promise I will get back with you. When I come on to DS, my heart does a little flip-flop when I see all those things. I really appreciate all you guys. I tried to get on last night very late but was unsuccessful. So I decided to try earlier today.

As I have said before, my life is pretty low key. I do have some issues with pain (not all from fibro). I also
used to work outside the home, I no longer do that. I used to keep a very clean house, not any more. I don't do much of the housecleaning - I do mop the floors from a seated position. I just move my chair from one place to the next. I just got a swiffer duster
and steam cleaner. I have used the duster and my husband has used the steam cleaner. He does all dishes, laundry and generally cooks his own meals at night (I do not eat supper).
He had to retire at age 53 because of arthritis. He has had two hip replacements on the same hip in ten years. His first replacement came out of joint five times over six years. The second time we asked them to make it a locking joint and also went to a different doctor. Its been four years now and no dislocations.

Our sixteen year old daughter takes care of her room and bathroom and works a part-time job. She is a sophomore in high school. She is an honor student and is dual-enrolled at the community college. So we don't ask her to do much around the house. It's a matter of priorities you know.

Right now I just feel like I am in limbo. We lost our home because of finances. We have been renting for four years. We are going to start looking for a home to buy when May gets here. I need a house of my own so I can make a "home" for my family. So I am trying to learn all I can about decorating on a budget. There are great ideas on the web. I would like you all to pray for me to get a sewing machine, so I can made some things by hand. The one I have is gone - won't work any more. I really need something to occupy my mind.

I do pray that you get a sewing machine to use.It would be helpful to you if you enjoy doing things like that. I cannot think of original things on my own but when I see something I like it gives me ideas. I don't do much of anything anymore. The doctor says my bloodwork doesn't show any sign of the polymyalgia anymore but I have pain in my muscles and all over and I am tired all the time. I am glad your husband and daughter help you. Did you ever make a quilt. I have one started. I am sewing the blocks by hand. Haven't done any in awhile but I do like them. One of my friends got me interested now she has moved away.
