I don't have the same experience, but I can imagine what you must be going through. I would think it is better to have him drugged. He must be experiencing inner turmoil to resort to kicking. Hope your weekend will be better.

My name is Tom Hopper I suffer from Vertigo. Lately I have had sudden dizziness that lasts 2 mins but its so intense its like ridding the rooler coaster it slams me back in my chair. I know what he is going through.

Well, here it is April. His memory is getting so bad. Can't remember what day/month/year it is. He can't remember his age. Very hard to stay upbeat but I feel I must. I know everything works to the good for those that love the Lord. But, it's still hard. I read someplace that you're not suppose to remember the way he was 50 years ago. Just remember how he was a short time back. I think the person who said that knows something I don't know. Have a blessed day and thanks for listening. Lita

Close Parkinson's Disease
I'm the caretaker for my husband who has had Parkinsons for 7 yrs. The worst part is his ridgitity, tremor in his one hand,getting out of bed or a chair now his speech is affected.
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Yes, I find physical therapy helps with the stiffness. Rides the stationary bike and they apply moist heat and massage, twice a week.
- Sinemet Working / Worked
- Has been on it for a few years. So far so good.
Open Caregivers
I am my husband's caregiver. He has mild dementia and Parkinsons.
Open Dizziness & Vertigo
My husband gets very dizzy when just getting out of chair or even at times just standing. The ENT says he has vertigo. He has an appointment with a balance therapist who specializes in Vertigo. I know someone who was completely cured. Hope it works for my husband.
