About Me
Hey, I'm Jeremy. I used to be active and would like to be again. I am a telecommunications designer(ITS; Information Transport Systems, fiber optics etc)at the 2nd largest engineering firm in the world and a new father. I was pre-law but when I had a daughter I put my dream of being a lawyer on hold and went back to a job where I make a good salary but don't have the kind of self-satisfaction I got going after my law degree, I used to be a partier, but fatherhood and MS change you. I am looking for any suggestions on how to improve my situation. All suggestions are welcome. My "fiance'" left me three days after i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, pretty sympathetic huh? Oh well. Lonelines is setting in, I want a lady in my life =o( I just really miss adult conversation on the relationship level (if that makes any sense). I am an east coast boy out here on the west coast. All my friends are back home in MD. At least I got some good family here and this site. Mom (Rhonda), step-father(Tommy) and two sisters (Sara and Andrea) are in Rainier, Oregon, also my little girl (Maddie) My father (Earl) works for Microsoft so he, step-mom (Teresa), my younger brother(Patrick) and sister Christina, (who was valedictorian at her school and is in her first year at the University of Washington; the Huskies) are in Seattle. I also have an older brother(Roger) who is a teacher in Yakima, WA. I said to him once, "A teacher? What do you expect to make as a teacher!?!?" He replied, "A difference." To me that was the absolute coolest thing he has ever said to me. It gave me a whole new respect for teachers. One of the most noble professions there is. He is married and has two little boys (Drake and Grayson). I am big into family. Wouldn't trade them for the world.
Interests
Basketball, baseball, FOOTBALL (GO PATRIOTS) I'm not giving up on them, drag racing, shooting pool, THE SIMPSONS (my 2nd favorite thing after daddy's llittle girl, Madison!) She's walking now!!!!! (well running) Can't wait for her to start talking. I need to find something to do besides work. I do nothing in Oregon. I am sooooo bored. Any suggestions?

Support Groups
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Primary Progressive MSI am 30 =o( and was diagnosed in Sept. of '07. I now have faith in my diagnosis :o)
Treatments
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- I think; doctor just doubled my dose. We'll see.
- Copaxone Too Soon to Tell
- Been taking the shots for a while. Hopefull that it will help. :o)
- Provigil Working / Worked
- This is for fatigue. I'm am very awake now. Good stuff. The efficacy is beginning to fade. The doctor just doubled my amount. we'll see. =o)
Close Breakups & Divorce
Fiance' left me following MS diagnosis.
Open Depression
MS sucks =o)
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- So far so good.
- Positive Thinking Not Working
- I am trying my hardest to stay positive.
- Prozac Too Soon to Tell
- We;ll see what happens =o)
