Don't exactly know why...not much happening I guess. I am glad to be into the 2nd trimester! 14 weeks...yay! Still getting sick though. On and off, but ALL day yeasterday. Ick. Hopefully it'll go away for good. 5 1/2 months to go!
So I had another dream about a baby girl last night. The same beautiful baby! With a chubby little face, dark (almost black) hair and blue eyes with pale skin and rosie little cheeks. We were so in love with her! Thinking back it didn't even seem like a dream. The way we handled her and carried and held her. I wonder if it's just my thoughts or a premonition!?!? I cannot WAIT to find out!
My best friend's daughter predicted a girl. She's 11, and this girl knew when her mom was pregnant again after a miscarriage before they did. She said, "The baby's back" and they kinda just ignored it (she was 3 at the time). But then Tracie got a positive test, then Kelly (her daughter) kept telling everyone she was getting a brother and a sister, and it turned out that Tracie was, in fact, having twins--a boy and a girl! I love that kid! I believe her too! LOL
I'm so feaked out about the economy. The homebuilder that I used to work for has layed off A LOT of my friends. It's terrible. I don't think they're gonna make it. I hope our company can ride it out. We are in construction, but not home building. It's scary. I told Bob last night, I wish we could go back to 1998-2000. Right before we got married. Things seemed a lot better then. We could afford things. We weren't afraid of losing our jobs. I don't know. Hopefully next year will be better.

You're right...this economic downturn stuff is pretty scary. I hope that your company is able to weather this storm. I sometimes think of the future and how we'll reflect on our pregnancies as a time when the world seemed to be falling to pieces around us. Anyway, big congratulations on your 2nd trimester (I'm trailing you by two weeks).

I'm glad all is going well, I know I can't wait to find out the sex. A lot of people are guessing girl for me, but I guess we'll see. I hope your company can get through this bad economic time.
