I ENJOY YOGA, MY DOGS, AND VISITING WITH FRIENDS OVER COFFEE. READING BOOKS AND MAGAZAINES RELAXES ME. I ENJOY CHURCH AND GOING TO AA MEETINGS. I'm a 39 year old speech therapist. I have a super fiance and 2 wonderful dogs (Basenji's, non-barking dogs). I am pregnant and am unsure as to the health of my baby. I was 5 wks along and was shocked to find out I was pregnant. At 6 wks, my MD did not think the fetus was healthy/viable. At 8 weeks I had a ultrasound, which seemed normal (whatever that means) and now, I'm 10 1/2 weeks-- seems like years!
Before becoming pregnant, I was learning to fly airplanes. I had 15 hours in the air and slowly but surely, was learning. I enjoy reading, walking, and yoga.

Well as long as you have a great big green smile - I know you are all right and I'm sure the baby is thriving. Take care, my friend - kiss the baby for me.
Huge hugs to you. How are you doing?? Here's to a great weekend.
So??? You and the little guy are fine? I hope you are enjoying every single minute. Take care, my friend.
I thought I was going to lose my baby when I was newly pregnant. Lots of great people like you listened and helped support me. Things are actually looking okay now.
I'm 39 years old and 33 weeks pregnant. The first 7 weeks were so scary as my blood work didn't look right. At 8 weeks the ultrasound looks good and things are actually okay, now I'm just adjusting to the idea of motherhood as I thought it would never be able to happen. I have two dogs and that has been my experience with motherhood so far.
I have been diagnosed as bi-polar since 1994 and have had much success with medication and counseling. I am now pregnant and can not take any meds. It is a real adjustment so far. It' also scary but I do have faith that things will work out.
I'm 39 and have had backpain for about 5 years. I have been doing much better since surgery (last year), but since becoming pregnant I am already getting stiff. Pain is a scary thing.
I have a baby boy, born 2-08-08. I've never been a Mom and initially I felt great about it. Now it seems the baby isn't on much of a schedule and he is wrestless all the time. I can't sleep because I'm so worried about his sleep schedule and that he'll need me.
