Tornado March 2008
We lived through a tornado earlier this year. It was wild! We're from up north, now living in the south, and we …
This morning started out good until I opened the shades in my living/dining room. Besides my neighbor having put up a hate fence on his property (which is at an angle so I can see it and it takes away my view of the lovely mountains we used to have) he had added some trees alongside the fence. This infuriated me so much that I started screaming and crying. This man is harrassing us because of some golf balls that my husband accidentally hit into his yard. My husband was going to pick them up but our neighbor said "no problem."
We live on a private road in the country and our neighborhood has what's called a "road committee." We have to pay annual dues to help with the current upkeep of the gravel road. Many different people have been on this committee in the past and I guess that they have suffered through battles by "certain" neighbors. So they ended up asking for other volunteers and giving up their posts. My husband, our neighbor, and another neighbor accross the street volunteered almost 2 years ago to be the "road committee." My husband and the neighbor accross the street have worked well together and put in the best road and underbudget this year. My next door neighbor got angry and built this "hate fence" and now added the trees. He won't allow my husband to talk with him and won't co-operate on the "road committee."
So now my lovely view is gone and my depression has set in big time. There is more to all of this, too.
I can't continue on right now so I will say good bye.
