So here I sit on friday morning, My husband was up at 4: 15 am . I came down stairs and the house is a shambles , he had bacon left on the stove, a package of cheese on the floor. Lighter fluid for the grill on the stove, 2 boxes of cereal on the table, clothes hangers on the table. The living room that is another story the furniture was all displaced. Clean clothes all over the furniture wow I could go on and on. Today is pay day so his Manic depressive which seems to be in the grnadious states on fridays is really out of control. You see today is payday so he gets excited. Although his behavior is out of control so far emotionally he is in check, he has not said anything to far off yet. I have an appointment for him today with a Dr. He says that he is not going. I really need to get him there. I cried yesterday and he says that he no longer loves me and that neither me nor our son listen to him. We do not listen becasue he has been rapid cycling for a long time. God please help me to get him to his appointment today with the Dr and for him to shed some light and for him to tell the Dr the truth about what goes on in his daily routine. Thanks for listening

Gina - I hope you don't mind me commenting - . It is good you are journalling - this is one of the best ways for you to get some support and relief.
I hope you also are able to get your husband to the Dr as it is really important that he begins to get some help.
Bi Polar can be a very selfish disorder. This is what he is saying when he says he doesn't love you and you don't listen to him - it's al about him right now - unfortunately this is how he sees things. I know it is painful to hear, but of course not true.

Gina, I am so sorry you are hurting. I am sending up prayers that you got your husband to the doctor. I know this sounds extreme, but if you can't get him to the doctor and he is rapid cycling, you can put him on a 72 hour hold in the hospital and he will get the help he needs. If you can't get him to the ER,call the police and they will take him for you. Like I said it sounds extreme, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get someone help. I hope things start getting better soon.
