Wow! It's been a while! Are you out for summer break or going this summer too? How have you been doing? I'm having back surgery again on Wed; the 3rd in less than 5 yrs. Hope this one last longer than the 1 month that the last one did. You know how us lupies are!! This wasn't because of lupus though, it's due to my degenerative joint disease. I am so glad that I found this website!! I was diagnosed with lupus at 12 years old. I remember feeling very lonely, and feeling like the only one in the world to have to deal with the struggles of every day life.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder in 2003. I had to send my daughter to live with her father for about a year because I was having suicidal thoughts at the time and I was not able to take care of her,when I could not even take care of myself.
Treatments
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- I had to go to a day clinic for a while to get myself together. Now I see my pschotherapist once a week and psychologist once a month.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- It works pretty well when I have it. I have to get samples because I have no health insurance.
