I have suffered from depression for 13 years, and it's been worse since my husband came home from 18mo. in Germany. Depression runs in my family, and because my mother's is so bad, I can't even talk to her anymore. She blames everything on me and never hears what I'm really saying.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Seems to be working now that my Lexapro has been increased from 10mg. to 20mg.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHave suffered from depression 13 years, it runs in the family, my husband was overseas for 18 months and if it hadn't been for my teenage son, i don't think I would have made it, things are actually worse since he got home, he's not the same man he was, and he didn't see combat. Also suffer from panic attacks
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Seems to be working since my dosage was changed from 10mg. to 20mg.
- Prozac Not Working
- Made me CRAZY.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- There aren't that many good therapists around here, I have a tendancy to call my cousin who is a psychiatrist in California.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Didn't work, made me sick and angry.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Helps with the panic attacks.
