About Me

Retired on Sept. 15, 2007 with 34 yrs., 8 months & 19 days. Was an electrician at a hydroelectric power plant. Worked with voltages ranging from a half a miilivolt up to 176, 000 volts. Climbed 250 ft. radio tower just to change a lightbulb. Crawled all around switchyard steel, 30 ft. off the ground with that 176, 000 volts buzzing around me. And I loved it! Didn't stay the full 35 years cause I was hired back as an inspector while major construction is going on at the dam. In my second marraige. Four years last April 3rd. Oldest daughter, Monica, from first marraige has been married going on a year and working on making me a grandpa. My middle child, Melissa passed away Dec. 31, 2003 of pnemonia. She would have been 24 the next Febuary. She had a condition called Rett Syndrome. Weighed only twenty three pounds when she left this world for heaven. My son, Preston, graduates from Kennesaw St. Univ. this summer with a degree in political science after he gets back from going to school in Italy. Very proud of all my kids.

Interests

Photography. Music, listening not playing. Trekking the Appalation Trail. Just part of it. Too old to do the whole thing. My kids. Love to shoot my pistols as well.
