Hi Donna: You are not alone in your Avonex usage. My doc is doing studies with the drug and wanted me to be on it. I opted for Copaxone because of it's non--metabolism through the liver. I hate testing. Also, I am not too fond of the side effect profile. I am on Copaxone even though it is a daily injectable, makes dents in your body and causes bouts of extreme depression and mood swings. If it doesn't make you sick and your liver testing is good and helps, I say just go with it. This is a funny disease. Not every drug works for everyone so you have to do what works for you. If ain't broke don't fix it!!
